Thursdays Are For Knit Group

Lucky for us,  migration season has begun.  Smiling and happy to be home  after a rainy winter in Texas, we have Gloria.

Welcome home, Gloria.  We missed you.

Nan too, migrated north for a few days of winter R&R.

She's been busy knitting down there in Toronto.  Look at these  shawls, socks   and scarf.
That is two Highland Fling shawls, one wonderful double scarf with ribbed ends and two pairs of Koigu socks.

Ingrid too finished a pair of socks.
Alpaca and silk bed socks on their way to Germany to warm a friend's cold feet.  Lucky friend.

Ruth, our geriatric bowler and quilt recipient  found that easy baby sweater pattern she was looking for.

Knit in one piece to the underarms, all she has left to do is sew in the sleeves.

Sharon  purchased the cutest-ever, hound dog,  baby shoes for her baby socks.  Lucky baby, Sharon.

But the winner of this week's  'Oh my gosh!  It's beautiful!' award goes to  Wilma for this  afghan.

Crocheted  - all in one piece - in  such wonderful colours,  this is a work of art and a gift for her sister-in-law.

Such a variety of women and work.  How wonderful is that? And how lucky am I to spend my Thursday afternoons in such a way?
