Each time I visit Victoria and surrounds, I tell myself "This is my country, my language, my government, my currency, yet still I return to cold, snowy, drab, unleafed, still-brown Ontario. Why?"

you come back becasue family is here. SImple enough. But it is nice to visit other parts of our wonderful country - one day I will get to mile 0 as well!
Tell Fred we have been at mile 1 in Newfoundland..hope sometime to make it to the other end..your pics are great makes me want to go..Sharon
Color me jealous now. I've never been west. Looks like a wonderful trip, and I'd love to have seen our Northern boys curl! I'm back home now from two weeks in Arizona, and we're still getting so much snow that we needed our driveway plowed out on Sun. But home is home, and it does have its own delights.
