Cooler fall temperatures must have certainly turned heads towards knitting. The room today was packed.
I have taken a picture of Ingrid in her Koigu dress. The one that graced the cover of Koigu magazine last year. You have seen it before. But what I had never seen was Ingrid in orange tights. I couldn't resist a picture of those orange legs.
For the last year or so, we have been meeting in Meaford Hall. Home to all the wonderful concerts and movies that we appreciate in our area. The hall offered lovely rooms and lovely ambiance but unfortunately was a bit pricey for knitters of lowly means. So we asked the library if we could come back and knit there. As if we were prodigal sons, they welcomed us back with open arms. Gave us cupcakes and laid out lots of knitting books to show their hospitality.
Thanks, ladies.
Sharon's friend Josie has returned to Meaford to live and joined us today.
She is wearing her 'bits & bobs' sweater, Sharon is wearing her
Mothed, knit in Americo Cotton Flamme.
Ruth has a lovely baby blanket in soft pastels.
Nice job Ruth.
Sandy, leaving tomorrow for Florida, knits on a cowl.
Looks like good driving knitting, Sandy. See you at Christmas.
A couple of my friends from Collingwood dropped in so all in all it was a great day for knitting. Oh wait. All days are great days for knitting. Today was no exception.
