My New Favourite Sweater

I handed Fred the camera in between his morning and afternoon fishing jaunts and give you modeled shots of my 50th Anniversary Sweater. This is my new favourite sweater.

It fits nicely.

It's passed the wearing test - twice this week.

Like any good natural fibre, it keeps me warm and snuggly, but doesn't make me hot.

The two tone I-Cord edges do not roll! Yippee!

I'm happy, happy, happy with it.

Thanks for your interest in this knit - and as Marie would say - eh!

Looks great. Wish my current sweater project looked as nice on me....it's too small though I am knitting to gauge, etc. (sigh)

Great looking sweater, Brenda. It sure was worth all that knitting but I bet you won't rest on your laurels before the next project gets tackled ☺

Beautiful! What a great fit you achieved, and the I-cord looks wonderful.

Any snow there, yet? ;-)

Beautiful! Glad to hear it keeps you warm without being TOO warm. I have problems with that all the time.

You have every right to brag - what a beautiful sweater!! I especially love the touch of red the choice of colors in the yoke (light to dark). Best of all - it looks great on you! I'll start knitting sweaters again when I can figure out how to make them fit like that one does. :-)

That is one gorgeous knit "EH"?

Seriously fabulous. I've already gushed weeks ago about using the red as an accent but its just so brilliant! As are the alterations you made to the yoke for such a flawless fit!

Congratulations on all of it - not to mention finishing it just in time to wear it at the perfect time of year for such a knit!
