Hey Teach! has been ripped. Her replacement is --
A Hint Of Lace by Megan Lacey ( The name is no pun - or maybe it is) from this book.
Another top-down project. With a few modifications. My sweater
- will have less ease than the one shown as I am making a smaller-than-normal size
-will be fitted through the waist
-will have three quarter sleeves
-will not have a fairisle section
- will have only one colour, the main colour, in the lace portion.
Oh, and I should mention, is being knit with Aran Weight yarn, not Double Knitting weight.
Other than that, it will look exactly like the photo. :)
I started the sweater last Saturday andintend fantasize about having it done to wear to the Kitchener Waterloo Knitters' Fair this Saturday. Comedy is my other calling.
But, I am ready to split the sleeves from the body,
so the goal hasn't been abandoned . Yet.
