Friday night, I finished Dorothy's socks - just in time for her Saturday visit.
I cast on 68 stitches and worked a 2x2 rib for 2 inches. Then deleted 2 stitches to make a multiple of 6 and worked a 5 x 1 rib down the leg and on the top of the foot.
Remember me saying that I chose the yarn because it 'looked' like Dorothy? Cheerful and fun-loving? Here's what I meant. This is Dorothy, modelling her new socks.
She'll be delighted. Very nice!
Isn't it fun finding people who love hand knit socks!! Hooray for socks!
I've never met Dorothy, and I'm pretty sure I would really like Dorothy...
Dorothy looks like my kind of gal - and I love the socks!
